As a child, I did everything I was told. You could say that I was so loved and protected by my parents that I always made the "right" choices. And I did - I was a good student, had friends whom met my parents' approval, went to undergraduate school and got a double major in Economics and Psychology (a very practical and useful degree), worked for 2 years to get some "real" experience, and then was accepted to do my MBA at UBC. Careers after my education came easily and then I got married, had 2 children, got a dog and life was good. I did it all, in the order it should have been done. Life WAS good. Except I had never met myself.
I was like a hamster spinning on the wheel of life and I didn't know that there was life off the wheel. Until I serendipitously attended a life coaching meeting and realized that although I had achieved a number of milestones in my life, I was living small compared to the magnificence and potential I have within me. Since then, I have been on an exploratory and fulfilling journey of self discovery and traveling to find my life's greatness with a loving heart and an open mind.
Realizing that my life's purpose is to help create greatness and fulfillment in the lives of others was just like coming home. It felt right and the fit of this work, with who I am at my very core, is perfect. At my core, I hold values that are unwavering. I cherish love at its deepest level, connection, the brutal truth, authenticity, passion, exploration of new perceptions, FUN, bravery, positivity and self-faith.
