What a fantastic group of entrepreneurs I have the privilege of working with.  Last week, 15 very creative, inspiring and authentic small business owners gathered together to discuss the celebrations and challenges of being an entrepreneur – thanks to all of you who attended.  One of the comments was how important it is to systemize the processes within the small business.  Entrepreneurs tend to do well in the "trade" or "core service" of their business and managing the consistency and flow of the work often becomes a challenge.

Wow!  Returning from another week in California for my third (out of four) leadership retreats has left me hungry for continued inspiration and deep, intimate, soulful connections.  Our retreat this time was themed "Creating from Nothing" and we spent much time connecting as a group in a space that required little verbal communication and much intuition.   Parts of the retreat involved times of solitude and meditation and I have found a great solace in that "empty" or "nothing" place.  What have I learned?  That what I used to avoid, like being alone or being in environments that were too quiet, I now love and cherish the peace and serenity they provide.  I come out of those times and "back to reality" with, really, a new sense of reality and am more intuitive and acting and living from that place.  I am loving the groundedness of this discovery.
