Personal Reflection

This week, I found out that a good friend of mine from university days has breast cancer.  She is being so brave and so conscious and so resourceful.  I am completely inspired by how she is showing up against adversity and am fully, fully present with her in my thoughts and my prayers.  What do I know for sure?  I know that when your life is threatened, you hunker down and take a good look at what really matters.  It’s never your material possessions, your job or how you decorated your house... it’s about whether you’ve lived your life with no regrets, loved as deeply and fully as your heart desires, expressed all that needed expressing from the depths of your soul... that I know for sure and I thank my friend for so clearly showing me.  Please say a prayer with me, for her return to great health – I believe all good energy gets to where it needs to go.
