Announcing Oakville’s first spot for igniting entrepreneurial breakthroughs ... the e-Spot™

It is so funny to me that I have not announced the e-Spot™ in my newsletters up until now yet it has been something I have been living and breathing in some way, shape or form, for the last 4 years! In the fall 2009, enSpire Coaching Inc. will be integrating its coaching services into a new business concept called “the e-Spot”.

Intrigued? I hope so. Besides the fact that the name calls for some curiosity and perhaps a little “oops….maybe we shouldn’t talk about ‘spots’ of any kind…”, I chuckle AND WANT to tell you about this new place that is coming to town...

The e-Spot is the spot where entrepreneurs excel. Better than a home office, better than a coffee shop, better than a referral network group, better than looking independently for the best professional help you can find to jump start your business, the e-Spot is a membership-based club for entrepreneurs like you who want a one stop spot to get all the help you need to be at your best so you can give your business the best chance for success.

Four years ago, I designed a vision board about the e-Spot. Not knowing how it would come to be but knowing it was sorely needed in all creative entrepreneurial communities, I saw and continue to see, a hunger for three things in our small business communities

1) less working alone and more working together
2) non-conventional, creative, yet professional meeting space for client meetings, seminars, launch events, training, retreats….and
3) one place to go for the best small business professional help possible.

The e-Spot meets all of these needs and then some...

The e-Spot will be located in Oakville, with an expected official launch to take place during Small Business Week in October. With over 2500 square feet in the heart of Oakville and with great access to highways and plenty of parking, the concept has caught the attention of many local entrepreneurs and the media. I am thrilled to say that the e-Spot will be one of the five finalists on a off shoot program like the Dragons’ Den called The Coliseum on May 12th. The e-Spot team, consisting of 5, will be doing our best pitch ever to a panel of the Greater Toronto Areas’ top 75 entrepreneurs and business professionals. Wish us luck!!

Personal Reflection

There are no words for me to describe the weekend I just had. I have 6 fantastic, intelligent, funny, authentic, loving, crazy women who are my best friends and we had the good fortune (designed very intentionally) to come together for a four day weekend in Maine. It was a weekend filled with truth and unconditional love. We all showed up fully, in asking for what we needed and being there completely to meet the needs of each other. With us living all across the continent, our focus was to savour every moment with each other and really, it didn’t matter what we did, as long as we were in each others’ company. AND we totally did fun things….from lobster cooking to wine tasting, from beachcombing to picnicking, from yoga to curling up together and talking, from laughing to crying, I am SO SO blessed to be part of a community of women who cherish authenticity, who have the capacity to love so deeply and who celebrate all human experiences with no judgment. JJJJKL – I love you more than I have words for.
