Greatness Tip!

I was recently given the book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind – Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth by T. Harv Eker.  This book has come to me at the most opportune time – it’s full of insightful concepts and ideas so you can set an intention to have abundance and wealth in your life.  Eker says you have to think rich to get rich and here are some of the big differences between what rich and poor people think:

  • Rich people believe “I create my life”; poor people believe life happens
  • Rich people play the money game to win; poor people play the money game to NOT lose
  • Rich people are committed to being rich; poor people want to be rich
  • Rich people think big; poor people think small
  • Rich people focus on opportunities; poor people focus on obstacles
  • Rich people admire the rich; poor people resent the rich
  • Rich people focus on their net worth; poor people focus on income
  • Rich people are willing to promote themselves; poor people do not self-promote
  • Rich people are excellent receivers; poor people are poor receivers
  • Rich people think “both”; poor people think “either/or”

Personal Reflection: What Have I Learned?

Spending this past weekend at a Relationship Systems Coaching course and experiencing the last 3 weeks connecting with family, business friends and childhood and school friends from Washington, Connecticut, New York and Vancouver, I am overwhelmed with the feeling of extreme gratitude and appreciation for all of those that I connect with.  I notice that we are nothing without our relationships; we grow from them, we learn from them; we live from them.  From watching my cousin Simon get married to visiting with my cousin Maybelle to reconnecting with friends from Vancouver and my friend Ceci from childhood; from excitedly seeing friends from past coaching courses to exploring new connections, I am all filled up!  So what have I learned?  That life is short AND life is made up of the experiences we choose.  So please… CHOOSE the things that give you love, connection, excitement, serenity and appreciate all of those special people in your life.
