Lori Bateman, Journey Into Journaling
Journey Into Journaling was founded by Lori Bateman out of her love for journal writing. It began with her first diary when she was 10 years old and developed into a life long passion and desire to teach others. 37 years and 55 books later, Lori is now available to anyone who would like to learn to write or would like to explore their writing on another level.
Writing a journal is something that most of us have thought of doing at one time or another. Whether you began as a child with a diary, dabbled with once in a while, or are devoted and passionate, it is a creative outlet we are drawn to for many different reasons. The process often appeals to us when we begin our personal journey of self discovery and look for ways to support our new ideas. Writing a journal is a practice that allows us to explore our inner most thoughts, dreams or fears. Journey Into Journaling will assist you in that process whether you are just beginning or are experienced and looking for fresh insights.

Carolyn Hidalgo, Professional Life Balance Coach
As a mother of twin girls, and a son, I understand the juggling act of raising children, managing a home, and/or developing a career, while striving to maintain your emotional, physical and spiritual self. I was immediately drawn to psychology at U of T, enrolled in their program, but succumbed to external pressure following the path more travelled – the practical profession of accounting. I completed my psychology specialist, but switched gears to graduate with a commerce degree believing an “independent profession” was the wiser choice, and went on to become a chartered accountant working hard at a good job in the business world.
After the birth of my son, life priorities quickly changed, and I realized how unattached I was to my accounting career. Less than two years later, my twin girls arrived, and life was BUSY – but a part of me was still searching for what I wanted in life in addition to my role as a mother. I decided to join a friend to attend a life coach session along with two other moms, and a bond immediately formed. That first session led to many more powerful sessions, and I embarked on a journey of self discovery alongside these incredible women each on their own journey. Today the bond between us is indescribable, a connection like no other, and speaks volumes about the power of coaching. I am now on the path less travelled, but know that it is here where I am my best self, which allows me to give my children the opportunity to become their best self.
The life coaching profession re-kindled my genuine interest in psychology, which for me was all about understanding people. It provides the opportunity to follow my passion of connecting with people, and use my communication, and organizational skills to make a difference in the lives of others. I am thrilled to be a trained co-active coach with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and continue to celebrate, and be inspired along the journey. My vision is to inspire others to discover their inner strengths, connect with their passion, and move into action towards a life that is authentic, fulfilling, and where each moment is celebrated.

Louise Veres, Living Your Best.
Many people go through life feeling like there is something more. I, like you, experienced the same thing. I was ready to make a significant transition in my life and take it to a higher level but was unclear as to what that would look like or how to get there. I was looking to cultivate personal leadership skills, get inspired and maximize my effectiveness but needed help with the strategies, tools and process. Then one day, I found a coach who helped me make the decision to take action and actualize my full potential. Through our discussions, it became abundantly clear about the type of work, environment and relationships that energize and inspire me. I discovered that connecting and aligning myself with my desires, visions and goals create the strategies, actions and progressions to achieving them. Through self-awareness and growth I can move from reaction to self-direction, connect with my internal values and purpose and deliberately create my life from the inside out.
So, how do you want to show up in life? The fact is that few people will make significant changes in their life without support. Each of us is the designer of our own life. How is your current design working for you?
Louise Veres is the founder of Living Your Best – a company developed specifically to empower people to “living their best life”. Living Your Best is about balance, harmony, fulfillment, confidence and success. What would it be worth to you to live a life you celebrated every day – a fully empowered life lived on purpose, consciously created by your own design; a life of intention that reflects your values, passions and spirit.
As an internal life designer coach, I focus on empowerment, work/life balance and personal/professional development. I work with intelligent, open-minded professionals and creative individuals who are interested in personal growth and dedicated to excelling in what they do.
Through interactive, fun and goal oriented discussions, I can help you discover creative manageable solutions and ideas that will help move your life from mediocrity to greatness. The coaching experience will help you to access your true purpose and consciously design your life to deliver your personal goals, dreams and aspirations.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors as well as working with and managing volunteers, you will be surrounded by an atmosphere of comfort and caring that will help you forward your action and deepen your learning.
With an honours degree in English and Psychology as well as Recreation Leadership and training with the Coaches Training Institute, I can provide helpful and innovative coaching that will help you live your life by design instead of by default.
