Job Opportunity: e-Spot™ Club Manager

The e-Spot™ is the PREMIER spot where entrepreneurs excel.  It’s a membership-based club designed for small business owners, with a stunning 2700 square foot space in the heart of Oakville, Ontario and offers creative entrepreneurs a physical spot to meet, learn, connect, share and grow.

Better than a noisy coffee shop, better than an isolating and distracting home office, better than a boring hotel meeting room, this loft-style, artistic, “full of vibe” space will be the source of inspiration for entrepreneurs and their businesses.

The e-Spot™ will be open in the Fall 2009 and is currently in search of a dynamic e-Spot™ Club Manager.  The ideal candidate is outgoing, engaging, self-motivated, loves the entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on execution of a created vision.  This person is an energetic connector, a phenomenal host, an authentic salesperson and educator and is, well, a ray of sunshine!  The person will basically run the e-Spot™.

Here are some of the key responsibilities for the e-Spot™ Club Manager…

Membership and Room Rental Sales

• Being the face and host of the e-Spot™
• Providing tours for prospective members or rental clients
• Executing membership sale campaigns
• Assessing campaign effectively and makig changes to operations based on results

Client Service

• Anticipating and responding to all member and rental client requests
• Processing member payments and billing-related queries
• Managing room bookings, including co-ordinating catering options
• Organizing regular member feedback strategies and reporting
• Maintaining the membership system online

Marketing

• Involved in creating the website for the e-Spot™ and actively responsible for making changes to web content with news, events, activities, member updates etc.
• Tracking member database and marketing campaign success
• Updating member profiles on line
• Involved in determining new member-drive and space rental campaigns

Relationship to key e-Spot™ team

• Hiring and supervising one part-time member service person
• Working closely with Grace Attard, creator of e-Spot™ and e-Spot™ Events Manager to execute sales and marketing programs, strategic alliances, events etc.
• Liaise and be the “go-to” person for e-team – team of professionals who will lease space on a permanent basis
• Energy Bar
• Overseeing inventory, creating healthy beverage and snack menus, budgeting and working the bar!

General space management

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, mood and ambience of the e-Spot™ space

Other

• It’s a new business – other responsibilities will likely show up!

Our Definites

Sociable, approachable, ability to connect ideas and people together, University Degree or equivalent experience in business, budgeting experience, highly computer literate, multi-tasker, experience in sales or marketing, exceptional customer service, barista or restaurant experience would be an asset.

The Details

Part-time contract (approximately 10- 15 hours a week) for July – September 2009. Hours and location flexible.

Full time contract starting in October 2009 – one year contract, negotiable thereafter. Full time hours 7:30am – 3:30pm yet requires flexibility due to events and other demands as they come up.
